Emily is a seasoned performer who recently played the lyric role of Grace in our Clay Center co-production of Annie. She made her Charleston Light Opera Guild debut in our Summer Theatre 2009 FestivALL featured production of Curtains in the comedic role of Georgia Hendricks. Her musical theatre resume includes choice singers roles such as Mrs. Malloy in Hello, Dolly!, Nancy in Oliver!, Sarah in Guys and Dolls and Sondheim's Saturday Night. Operatic performances include Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, and leading roles in The Magic Flute and Argento's Postcards from Morocco. Emily appeared at the Spoleto Festival in productions of Romeo et Juliette and Don Giovanni. Her musical education includes degrees in Vocal Performance, Music Education and Choral Conducting from Otterbein College in Ohio and Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey. She is the conductor of womanSong Chorale, with whom she also performs, and she founded Cora Voce, a chorus for high school girls as part of the Appalachian Childrens Chorus and she teaches Music Together, an early childhood music program for young children and their families. Emily and her husband, Christian, are the parents of two young children, Rudy and Clara. Christian, to whom she dedicates her performance, is currently serving NATO and the United States Air Force as a Rule of Law Mentor in Afghanistan.

Thanks to her big expressive voice and sparkling personality, Kelli Rabke has developed a good Broadway/musical theatre resume. She draws from it for much of her show at the Metropolitan Room, putting the material in more or less chronological order and offering each song or section as a chapter in the book of her life. The stage was packed to overflowing with musicians led by musical director John Fisher, and the band provided rousing support throughout the evening, which was being recorded for a CD release.
